One downside is that it may not be a solid 100 Mhz scope as advertised. In our tests, at 100 Mhz, the scope’s traces just collapsed into a heap of tears. However, for basic testing and hobby use, it is a great value for the money.

We liked the FNIRSI 1013D Plus Oscilloscope’s Lissajous graphic display and FFT viewing functionality. The Lissajous graphic display function allows us to compare the amplitude, frequency, and phase of two sets of signals. This feature is particularly useful when analyzing the relationship between two signals.

The FFT viewing function provides a rough estimation of the harmonic content of the signal. It allows us to quickly identify the frequency components of a signal and make informed decisions based on that information.
